Prime Minister Imran Khan says keeping a control on the prices of items of essential use is among the foremost priorities of the government.
He was chairing a meeting of the government’s economic team in Islamabad on Monday.
Imran Khan while terming the improvement in economic indicators as encouraging said international institutions including World Bank have acknowledged the government efforts and their positive impacts.
He said the target of government is to further improve these economic indicators.
The Prime Minister was told that revenue collection by FBR has seen improvement of fifteen to sixteen percent. In addition, no more loans are being taken from State Bank of Pakistan.
