PMA asks PM to restore PMDC

KARACHI:Pakistan Medical Association (PMA) through a letter on Friday congratulated Shehbaz Sharif on becoming Prime Minister of Pakistan.

Through this letter, PMA Secretary General Dr SM Qaisar Sajjad requested the Prime Minister to restore PMDC after removing controversial articles and clauses with consultation from all stakeholders so as to strengthen it as a democratic, autonomous, independent and transparent body to regulate medical education in the country.

PMA asked the Prime Minister to spare some time to meet the delegation of PMA to discuss the important issues regarding the health delivery system and Medical Education in the country.
