ISLAMABAD:Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) spokesperson and former Information Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb on Friday rejected the reports that the incumbent government has closed the Ehsaas program and the Panagahs (shelters) initiated by the PTI government.
Referring to the first address of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to the National Assembly, she said the premier had made it clear that public service projects would continue without any interruption. Talking to media, she said lies were being told and spread by those who were in a habit to tell lies frequently. She requested the media to avoid giving space to such baseless reports being spread deliberately.
Regarding Benazir Income Support Program (BISP), Marriyum Aurangzeb said it will be expanded further as Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has expressed resolve to make it a source of education for the children. She said every project related to the welfare of the people will be further improved and expanded in a transparent manner. She said health card program would also continue to function and to be improved further. She said Shehbaz Sharif has a passion to serve the people.
