KAMBAR: Police on Monday claimed to have arrested two suspected criminals in encounters. SP Qambar Shahdatkot Sameer Noor Channa said at a press briefing that the police were conducting a routine patrol on Sajawal Road within the limits of Mirokhan police late night when an unidentified man opened fire on them. He said in retaliatory fire by the police, a suspected robber Nadir Jamali was arrested in an injured condition, a pistol and bullets were also recovered from him. Another suspected criminal, Mashooq Jamali, was arrested in injured condition during crossfire with the police at Panhwar More, claimed SSP Channa. Several FIRs of thefts and robberies have already been registered against both the criminals, he further claimed.
