KARACHI:The Malir police on Monday claimed to have arrested an alleged drug peddler along with his accomplices from Sharafi Goth area.
According to police sources, the team of Sharafi Goth police Station, during its patrolling in the area, arrested an alleged drug peddler identified as Abdul Qadir alias Mota and his accomplices Sayed Munib Ali. The police also claimed to have seized drugs and snatched mobile phones from the possession of arrested accused.
The police said arrested accused were involved in drug trafficking in Sharafi Goth and adjoining areas while during the interrogation, arrested accused also confessed to committing thefts in the area. A case has been registered against the accused and investigation was underway.
