BANNU:At the end of the first day of special polio campaign in Bannu due to polio case in Mirali, North Waziristan, a review meeting of polio campaign was held under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Bannu Capt (r) Muhammad Zubair Khan Niazi and District Police Officer Imran Shahid on Thursday.

The meeting discussed in detail the situation in the polio campaign throughout the day and reviewed today’s campaign. The meeting was attended by Deputy DHO Bannu, DSP Headquarters and Polio Officers. Deputy Commissioner Bannu directed the concerned authorities that the success of the current campaign is imperative due to the Mir Ali polio case and the polio teams should ensure that no child is deprived of the polio vaccine. On this occasion, important decisions were taken to make the anti-polio campaign more effective.
