Poultry traders end strike in Punjab

LAHORE:Punjab government and Pakistan Poultry Association after successful talks settled matters and decided that from Sunday to coming three days the poultry meat would be sold at Rs260 per kilogram.

The association announced to end their strike and assured to sell the chicken at the agreed rates. However, citizens complain that they are compelled to buy chicken at Rs300 per kilogram or more as the Punjab government has failed to implement price mechanism and control artificial price hike in the province.
