PPP legislators have submitted resignations: Shah

LARKANA:Provincial Information Minister Syed Nasir Hussain Shah has said that PPP MNAs and MPAs had submitted their resignations to the party leadership and those would be used when the time was ripe.

“PDM decisions will be implemented,” Shah said while talking to media persons here on Saturday. He said that Sardar Akhtar Jan Mengal had already left the prime minister and had also done no good with the Seraiki belt, adding even PTI’s own people were not happy with him (the prime minister).

Shah said that the prime minister was saying two different things, one he is demanding open trial of foreign funding cases whereas his lawyers are saying since past six years that there should be no open trial and the case is pending decision since the past six years.

He said PPP believed in rule of law and court decisions would be implemented. In reply to a question, he said Sindh Chief Minister had written a letter to the prime minister about the attitude of federal minister Ali Zaidi.

Earlier, Shah accompanied by irrigation minister Suhail Anwar Siyal, commissioner and other relevant officers, visited Rice Canal where he directed the concerned authorities to further improve the drainage system along with a stoppage of draining out wastewater into the rice canal. Shah further ordered planting trees on both sides of the canal without loss of time which is flowing in the middle of the growing city for improving the environment and curbing pollution.

Shah also participated in a meeting held at the commissioner’s office wherein uplift schemes were discussed. MNA Khursheed Junejo, Commissioner Shafique Ahmed Mahesar, Aijaz Laghari and other party activists participated in the meeting.
