Islamabad, January 25, 2018 (PPI-OT):President Mamnoon Hussain has expressed satisfaction over operational preparedness of the armed forces and said that Pakistan’s defence is in strong hands and the armed forces of Pakistan are fully prepared to counter any aggression. The President said this while talking to Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General Zubair Mahmood Hayat NI (M) who called on him at the Aiwan-e-Sadr, Islamabad on January 25, 2018.
Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee briefed the President on defence and security matters of the country. Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee apprised the President that our armed forces fully alert for defence of the country and they know very well, how to protect our borders. Matters relating to National Defence University (NDU) were also discussed during the meeting.
