The President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry, has expressed strong reaction against India’s recent war aggression.

He stated that the people of Azad Kashmir and all political leadership will respond unitedly to India’s war hysteria.

President Chaudhry praised the Pakistan Army for downing five Indian warplanes and assured that the leadership and people of Azad Kashmir will collectively confront Indian aggression.

He accused India of demonstrating blatant aggression by bombing innocent civilians under the cover of night. He expressed sorrow over the martyrdom of innocent civilians and stated that the nation must stand shoulder to shoulder with the Pakistan Army to counter India’s intentions.

The President of Azad Kashmir appealed to the international community to take notice of India’s fascism and play a role in restraining its aggression.

He mentioned that the root cause of the Pakistan-India tension is the Kashmir issue, and peace in the region is not possible until this issue is resolved according to the wishes of the Kashmiri people. India is using tactics to suppress the Kashmiri people’s freedom movement, but it will not succeed.

President Chaudhry expressed these views during a meeting with former Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir, Raja Muhammad Farooq Haider Khan, and other delegations in Muzaffarabad.

He emphasized that the international community should understand the sensitivity of the Kashmir issue and play its part in granting the Kashmiri people their right to self-determination.
