Islamabad, October 22, 2021 (PPI-OT):Punjab Minister for Forestry, Wild-life and Fisheries Sibtain Khan called on Prime Minister Imran Khan in Lahore today [Friday]. The Prime Minister directed to increase the green cover in the province by planting new trees and protecting the existing ones.
Later, Punjab Health Minister Dr. Yasmin Rashid called on Prime Minister Imran Khan in Lahore on Friday. Special Assistant on Health Dr. Faisal Sultan was also present in the meeting. Steps taken by the government to improve Punjab healthcare system and the progress regarding launching of Health Cards were discussed in the meeting.
The Prime Minister was also briefed on COVID Vaccination drive and preventive measures regarding dengue. The Prime Minister directed to accelerate the pace of work on Mother and Child hospitals in Mianwali and Attock and mental health initiatives by the government.
