Islamabad, March 26, 2018 (PPI-OT):Prime Minister of Pakistan Mr Shahid Khaqan Abbasi visited Joint Staff Headquarters today. The PM was also accompanied by the Defence Minister Khurram Dastagir Khan. Prime Minister was briefed on the operational preparedness of Armed Forces. The PM expressed immense confidence in preparations of Armed Forces to neutralize and defeat complete spectrum of threats and challenges.
He paid rich tributes to the sacrifices of the Armed Forces, specially the Shaheeds. PM assured that nation will provide necessary resources to meet defence requirements of Pakistan Defence Forces.Earlier, upon arrival at Joint Staff Headquarters the Prime Minister was welcomed by General Zubair Mahmood Hayat, Chairman JCSC. A smartly turned out tri-services contingent presented ‘Guard of Honour’ to the Prime Minister.
