Islamabad, September 07, 2020 (PPI-OT): Prime Minister Imran Khan has stressed for greater coordination amongst all federal and provincial institutions to cope with the challenges posed by climate change. He was chairing a meeting of National Coordination Committee for Floods in Islamabad today.
The Prime Minister directed the Chairman of the National Disaster Management Authority to assess the damages caused by recent rains in Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province with the cooperation of provincial governments so that the relief activities could be accelerated and a joint strategy could be prepared to compensate for the losses.
