Islamabad, January 10, 2018 (PPI-OT):President Mamnoon Hussain has said that progress and expansion in the field of education is the real investment which results in the sustainable development of the nations. Aga Khan Foundation and university have played a valuable role in this regard, he added. The President said this while talking to a delegation of Aga Khan University (AKU) headed by its President Firoz Rasul who called on him at the Aiwan-e-Sadr, Islamabad on Wednesday. On this occasion, the President was also briefed about the Aga Khan University.
The President stated that AKU is rendering commendable services in the education sector. As a result specialists in different walks of life will be produced in the next few years which will accelerate the pace of national development and will also be raised the living standards of the people, he said. Vice President of AKU Al-Karim Haji, President Ismaili National Council Pakistan, Hafiz Sher Ali and senior officials of the President’s Secretariat were also present during the meeting.
