Peshawar, November 30, 2018 (PPI-OT): The Inspector General of Police Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Salahuddin Khan Mehsood on the recommendations of Departmental Selection Committee has promoted 22 Inspectors to the rank of DSPs with immediate effect. According to details a meeting of Departmental Selection Committee was held the other day. The committee had reviewed the promotion cases of 22 Inspectors posted in various regions of the province.
In the meeting, 22 Inspectors were recommended for promotion as DSPs and the recommendations were sent to IGP for final approval. The IGP, in light of the recommendations of the Departmental Selection Committee, promoted 22 Inspectors to the rank of DSP and its formal notification was issued today. The Inspectors promoted to the rank of DSP included Zia-ur-Rahman, Sabir Khan, Sher Afsar, Asad Zubair, Muhammad Saleem Tariq, Muhammad Javed, Fazal Wahid, Amir Nawaz, Liaqat Khan, Muhammad Shoaib, Afsar Zaman, Abdur Rasheed, Khalid Khan, Niaz Muhammad, Alama Iqbal, Tauheed Ullah, Faqir Hussain, Zahid Khan, Badshah Hazrat, Naveed Iqbal, Sher Wazir and Jehanzeb Khan.
