During the press conference, Sharjeel Inam Memon emphasized that the Parliament is a democratic institution elected by the people and any form of disrespect towards it cannot be tolerated under any circumstances. Regarding the issue of Saqib Nisar’s son allegedly selling tickets to any political party, Sharjeel Inam Memon stated that this matter should not be considered a private affair. He pointed out that Saqib Nisar had previously served as the Chief Justice of the country and during his tenure, he declared Imran Khan as truthful and trustworthy (Sadiq and Ameen), regularized the Bani Gala property, and imprisoned opposition politicians.

Memon emphasized that the disrespect of any institution, including the Parliament, is unacceptable and cannot be tolerated. He said that the decisions made by Saqib Nisar, which exceeded his powers, are clear and straightforward evidence against him. Sharjeel Inam Memon clarified that the issue at hand is not whether Imran Khan is involved in money laundering or not.

Rather, the question is whether action should be taken against Imran Khan based on the Election Commission’s decision or not. Sharjeel Inam Memon said that Imran Khan was granted a stay order in the BRT Peshawar case. Sharjeel Inam Memon accused Imran Khan of committing the most heinous crime of attacking national institutions.

He further alleged that Imran Khan, while sitting in court, threatened to react in a similar manner if he were to be arrested in the future. Sharjeel Inam Memon pointed out that despite the seriousness of these alleged crimes, Imran Khan had not spent a single day in jail. He said that Imran Khan had exploited his own supporters and later disowned them, Imran Khan refused to acknowledge his own Members of the National Assembly (MNAs) and Members of the Provincial Assembly (MPAs) in the videos.

Memon said Imran Khan is using PTI workers to further his own ambitions for power and then refusing to acknowledge them. He questioned how many people Imran Khan had visited in jail to show solidarity. He criticized Imran Khan for allegedly abandoning his workers in times of trouble, stating that true leaders do not leave their followers alone.

Memon said that Imran Khan is not a leader but a political puppet who exploits his workers for personal gain. He called on the international community to examine Imran Khan’s propaganda in light of his actions. In response to a question, Sharjeel Inam Memon said that the arrest of workers does not demonstrate a double standard; Imran Khan had indeed utilized his workers for his own purposes. In response to another question, Sharjeel Inam Memon commented that the MQM consistently creates narratives as a political strategy.
