QUETTA: All Municipal Workers Association Wednesday demanded of the authorities to release three stuck-up salaries of contract employees and pensioners of Quetta Metropolitan Corporation.
This demand was also made in the protest demonstration held in the premises of Quetta Metropolitan Corporation under the aegis of All Municipal Workers Association today.
Addressing the protest demonstration, speakers said that contract employees and pensioners of Quetta Metropolitan Corporation had been deprived of their monthly salaries for the last three months, adding that government of Balochistan had announced to increase the salaries of contract employees from Rs15,000 to 25,000, but salaries of contract employees of Quetta Metropolitan Corporation had not yet been increased.
They demanded of the authorities to release the stuck up salaries of contract employees of Quetta Metropolitan Corporation and pensioners of the corporation. The protest demonstration was addressed by Muhammad Rahim Baloch, President, All Municipal Workers Association, Nadeem Khokar, and Baig Muhammad.
