ISLAMABAD:An angry mob of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Wednesday torched the office of the Superintendent Police (SP) in the Industrial Area of Islamabad.
According to a report, the violent protesters also opened a straight fire and injured a constable. They burnt all the records in the SP office. Constable Hakim Khan was injured in the firing by the protesters.
The Islamabad police spokesperson said in a statement that the condition of the injured constable is out of danger. Tense situation prevailed across the city due to violent protests.
The police patrolling in the Islamabad has been expanded with sufficient deployment. The citizens preferred to stay home to avoid any untoward situation.
