PTI leaders unsuccessfully trying to incite businessmen against Sindh government: Jam Ikramullah Dharejo

May 7, 2020

Karachi, May 07, 2020 (PPI-OT): Provincial Minister for Industries and Commerce and Cooperative Department and Anti-Corruption Jam Ikramullah Dharejo said Thursday that PTI Sindh leaders were conspiring to create division among the people on the urban and rural basis and incite Karachi traders against the Sindh government. The conscious people of Sindh will not allow PTI leaders nefarious aims to succeed, he said in a statement. He said that the PTI Sindh leaders were doing nothing but were holding press conferences and levelling accusations against Sindh government.

PTI provincial and national assembly members who were accidentally elected from Karachi had only left to make critical statements against Sindh government, he said. Dharejo said coronavirus is a global pandemic and there is a lockdown in countries around the world to deal with it. “Why do these leaders object only to the lockdown in Karachi?

The government of Sindh was aware that the common man, business community and industrialists were facing difficulties due to the lockdown but the economy would get better one day but it was not possible to bring back human lives. Human lives are very important to us.”

Dharejo said that PTI leaders should not politicize human lives and support the Sindh government in the fight against coronavirus. He said that various industries had been allowed to operate under SOPs. In addition, various commercial activities are being gradually revived, but we must stop the spread of the coronavirus in any case.

He said that the steps taken by the Sindh government against the coronavirus had been universally accepted but the leaders of PTI Sindh had been blindly criticizing the Pakistan Peoples Party for its nefarious aims and inciting hatred among the people for their nefarious purposes. Dharejo said that the spirit of love and self-sacrifice needed to be promoted in the holy month of Ramadan and not to create division among the people.
