The issue of police attempts to block the PTI Sindh caravan has reached the Sindh Assembly. On September 7, the Sindh caravan, led by Haleem Adil Sheikh, was en route to Islamabad to attend a rally. The caravan was obstructed by the Sindh police in various cities, including Matiari, Saeedabad, Qazi Ahmed, Ranipur, Sukkur, and others.

In response to these illegal actions, PTI Sindh Assembly member Sajjad Ali Somro submitted a resolution of condemnation in the Sindh Assembly. The resolution states that the peaceful caravan, which included women, children, and the elderly, was unlawfully halted by the police. Not only was the caravan stopped, but Pakistani citizens, including women, children, and the elderly, were also subjected to violence.

The resolution highlights that the behavior of the police made all members of the Sindh caravan feel unsafe. It accuses the police of attempting to obstruct Pakistani citizens from traveling through illegal means, which goes against the constitution, law, and ethics. The Assembly strongly condemns the illegal conduct and police brutality faced by the caravan members and demands that legal action be taken against all police officers involved in these unlawful actions.
