The Islamabad Police, under the leadership of AIG Investigations/Complaints Syed Inayat Ali Shah, conducted an open court at the Central Police Office in Islamabad.

During this session, Shah personally heard the grievances of both the public and police personnel. Each issue raised was carefully documented, and relevant applications were forwarded to the concerned departments for prompt resolution based on merit. Additionally, officers were instructed to submit reports within a specified timeframe, ensuring swift action and accountability.

The AIG also made a firm commitment to uphold integrity within the force, stating that any officer found engaging in bribery or corruption would face severe consequences under a zerotolerance policy. This stance is part of a broader effort to foster a culture of honesty and responsibility in the police service.

Moreover, Shah reiterated the Islamabad Police”s dedication to safeguarding the citizens” welfare by declaring that protecting lives, property, and dignity is their utmost priority. He assured that such open courts would continue, enhancing direct communication between the police and the community, thereby facilitating rapid redressal of issues and promoting a sense of security among the populace.

These interactions are expected to not only bridge the gap between the police and the public but also encourage a more communityfriendly approach in law enforcement practices.
