Punjab Chief Minister holds meeting to review progress on Energy Projects

Lahore, January 09, 2018 (PPI-OT):A high-level meeting was held here today with the Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif in the chair to review progress on ongoing power projects. Addressing the meeting, the Chief Minister said that serious efforts of the PML-N government to overcome the energy crisis have bear fruit and thousands of megawatts electricity has been included in the national grid due to the completion of the energy projects.

The credit goes to the PML-N government that it has save the people from the darkness of loadshedding in a short period of time and assured that all possible resources will be provided for the completion of ongoing projects. He expressed the satisfaction that instead of relying on foreign aid, energy projects have been established with own resources and the energy crisis is going to end. Federal Minister for Power Awais Ahmed Khan Laghari. Provincial Finance Minister Ayesha Ghaus Pasha, concerned secretaries, CEO Pakistan Thermal Power Plants and others attended the meeting.
