Punjab Chief Minister holds meeting to review progress on Kasur Case

Lahore, January 15, 2018 (PPI-OT):A high-level meeting was held here today with Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif in the chair in which IG Police briefed about the progress made on the tragic incident that occurred in Kasur. Addressing the meeting, the Chief Minister directed that the criminal involved in the murder of Zainab must be brought to the clutches of law as soon as possible and police teams should proceed further this case with hard work so that the criminal could be arrested quickly.

He said that justice will also be done in the case of two persons that died due to firing and every possible support will be accorded to the bereaved families. Provincial Minister Ayub Gadhi, Spokesman Punjab government Malik Muhammad Ahmed Khan, Chief Secretary, ACS (Home) and concerned officials attended the meeting while head of JIT/RPO Multan, RPO Sheikhupura, DC and DPO Kasur attended the meeting through video link.
