Secretary of the Planning and Development Board, Dr. Asif Tufail, led a pivotal meeting with the Impact Assessment Smart Program team. Director Consultancy at Ernst and Young Ford Rhodes, Mr. Syed Ali Raza, presented a comprehensive briefing on the impact assessment of Punjab’s agriculture, livestock, irrigation, and other vital sectors. The assessment is intended to facilitate informed decisionmaking for upcoming development schemes and projects.

Dr. Tufail highlighted the significance of these sectors as the backbone of Punjab’s economy, urging department representatives to leverage the report’s findings and implement the recommendations effectively. Attendees included Sr Chief Regional Planning Mr. Mahmood ul Hassan, PD PRIDE Mr. Ali Jalal, among others.
