QUETTA: A hunger strike of the employees of Quetta Metropolitan Corporation (QMC) against the authorities of Quetta Metropolitan Corporation continues outside Quetta Press Club on Tuesday.
Talking to PPI, Dr Abdul Haleem Kasi, President, Grand Employees Alliance, QMC, said that GEAM demands had already been brought into the notice of Chief Minister Balochistan, Minister for Local Government and Rural Development, Secretary, Local Government Department and other authorities, but so far, no action had been taken.
He added that QMC employees had been on strike for the last many days, but its administrator had not even bothered to visit the protest camp. He said the protest against the authorities would continue till acceptance of all legitimate demands.
