Quaidabad’s nine coronavirus patients shifted to isolation centre

KARACHI:Ghulam Murtaza Baloch, Sindh Minister for Human Settlements and Special Development has said that nine corona positive patients of Quaidabad Gulistan Society had been shifted to Malir Isolation Center and all possible facilities were being provided to them.

He said this while presiding over a meeting, held at the office of Deputy Commissioner Malir on coronavirus issue. During the meeting, DHO Malir Dr. Ahmad Ali Memon informed about nine corona positive Cases in District Malir at Quaidabad Gulistan Society and said that those patients had been transferred to the Malir Isolation Center.

Baloch directed the immediate closure of OPDs at government and private hospitals in the adjoining area, including Quaidabad as nine patients corona positive had surfaced. Baloch and elected members of the assembly urged the people of the province to follow the directives of Sindh government while reducing the social links after the cases of corona virus were reported from the local transmission in Karachi and they should stay at their homes.
