KARACHI: A moderate earthquake of magnitude 3.1 struck Karachi on Saturday morning, according to Pakistan’s National Seismic Monitoring Centre.
No casualties was reported from the earthquake that was felt at 11:39 am of Pakistan Standard Time in various parts of the metropolis, the centre said adding that the quake originated 76 kilometres northeast of Karachi with a depth of 15km. The citizens in some areas of the city got fear, however, no loss of life or property occurred.
