Quetta police have prevented a potential disaster by saving a Chaman-bound train from a catastrophic accident. Two individuals, accused of stealing railway track near the Sheikhmanda area of Quetta, were apprehended.

According to the information by the Station House Officer of the Airport Police Station today, the suspects were caught red-handed while extracting a 20-foot section of railway track. Their timely arrest ensured the safety of the Chaman-bound train.

The railway authorities have temporarily suspended train service between Quetta and Chaman for repairs and assured that operations will resume once the damaged track is restored.
