KARACHI:As the PTI’s long march for Sindh’s rights reached Karachi, the Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi on Sunday claimed that a big change is being seen in Sindh.
Addressing the workers at the reception camp in Quaidabad, FM Shah Mehmood Qureshi took a jibe at the PPP and said that the masses have not been involved in the “Awami March” of PPP. FM Qureshi lashed out at the PPP and said “the party has gone to conquer Islamabad using government resources”.
Shah Mehmood said PPP have buried Bhutto’s politics. The promises made with the people of the province to provide them with the food, cloth and shelter, have not been fulfilled, FM Qureshi added. FM Qureshi alleged that the Sindh government in the province, committed corruption of Rs1400 billion in the last 14 years.
Federal Minister Ali Zaidi presented a Charter of Demand, which rejected the Local Government Act and demanded that an impartial person be made the administrator and implement the orders of the Supreme Court. PTI leaders said that political consciousness has been awakened in the people. Now they will not be fooled, they added.
