Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police have arrested six suspects and seized a significant quantity of illegal narcotics, including 5,872 grams of hashish and 3,167 grams of crystalline methamphetamine, locally known as ice, during a targeted operation.
The successful raid was conducted on Saturday by a team from the Shabqadar Police Station, led by Station House Officer (SHO) Bismillah Jan, under the direct supervision of Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Riaz Khan.
This action is part of a broader ongoing campaign against criminal activities throughout the Charsadda district, based on directives from District Police Chief Muhammad Waqas Khan.
In addition to the large drug consignment, law enforcement personnel also recovered two pistols and 35 cartridges from the detained individuals.
Formal cases have been registered against the six suspects, and further investigation into the matter is underway.
