Railway Mazdoor Ittehad stages protest

QUETTA:Railway Mazdoor Ittehad staged a protest demonstration at Quetta Railway station on Tuesday against closure of railway services and redressal of the grievances of Pakistan Railway’s labourers.

A large number of railway’s labourers attended the protest demonstration held under the aegis of Railway Mazdoor Ittehad. Addressing protest demonstration, leaders of Railway Mazdoor Ittehad, Afzal Bangulzai, Atta Muhammad, Lal Muhammad and others said that the closure of Balochistan Express, Chilton Express, Bolan Mail and Akbar Bughti Express had not only left railway labourers unemployed but also deprived passengers of the facility of cheap transportation.

They called on authorities to withdraw closures of rail services and entertain all genuine demands of the labourers of Pakistan Railway including grant of gratuity and TA/DA to retired employees of Pakistan Railway.
