Pakistan’s Minister of State for Finance and Railways, Bilal Azhar Kayani, and the UAE’s Minister of Energy and Infrastructure, Suhail Mohamed Al Mazrouei, today pledged to strengthen their countries” partnership in rail modernization and regional connectivity. This development took place during their meeting on the sidelines of the Global Rail Infrastructure Conference and Exhibition in Abu Dhabi.
During the discussions, Mr. Kayani expressed gratitude towards the UAE for their hospitality and the opportunity the conference provided for international cooperation in infrastructure development. He commended the Etihad Rail project as an exemplary model that emphasizes the importance of regional connectivity.
The dialogue centered on ways to advance the cooperation between the two nations in upgrading Pakistan”s railway system. This initiative aims to boost trade, improve connectivity, and foster sustainable economic growth. Both ministers reiterated the strong fraternal ties between their countries and emphasized their mutual dedication to fostering prosperity and promoting environmentally sustainable transport solutions.
