Rain likely in various Baluchistan areas

QUETTA: Pakistan Meteorological Department Quetta Regional Center Friday forecast that moderate to heavy rain-strong wind-thunderstorm is expected in Sherani, Zhob, Musakhail, Killa Saifullah, Loralai, Barkhan, Pishin, Quetta, Killa Abdullah, and Matung, Nushki, and Chaghi, Ziarat, Harnai, Kachhi, NaseerabadKohlu, Mand, Jhal Magsi, Jaffarabad, Kalat, Khuzdar, Kharans, Washuk, Panjgur, Kech, Awaran, Lasbella and coastal areas of the province. Heavy rains may generate flash flooding in the vulnerable areas of above-mentioned districts.

Possibility of damaging effects due to rain-storm during the forecast period during the next 24 hours. Weather forecast for next 48 hours; moderate to heavy rain-strong wind-thunderstorm is expected in Killa Saifullah, Ziarat, Naseerabad, Pangur, Kech, Awaran, Lasbella and and coastal areas of the province. Heavy rains may generate flash flooding in the vulnerable areas of above-mentioned districts during the period.

Weather prevailed during the last 24 hours; cloudy with rainy weather prevailed over the province. However, rain occurred in Dalbandin, Labella, Quetta, and Turbat, Ormara, Uthal, and Ziarat, Muslim Bagh and Pishin districts during the last 24 hours.
