Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Sardar Muhammad Yusuf said that religious tolerance will be promoted throughout the country. He was talking to a delegation of the Shia Ulema Council Pakistan, which met him under the leadership of Central Secretary General Allama Shabbir Hassan Maismi and Central Secretary Information Zahid Ali Akhundzada. In the meeting, views were exchanged on mutual efforts for the establishment of peace and order in the country and promotion of religious harmony, and the problems faced by religious pilgrims.
The advisor for religious affairs also participated in this discussion, which focused on the arrangements during the upcoming mourning period.
The participants agreed to work together to address some procedural challenges faced by the pilgrims.
The importance of joint measures to maintain peace and order across the country and to promote interfaith harmony was also emphasized.
Minister Yusuf pledged to promote religious tolerance throughout Pakistan to solve the problems of pilgrims and ensure national peace through joint efforts.
