ISLAMABAD: Minister for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb has sought report on the issue of cutting of trees at Radio Pakistan Rawalpindi.
In a statement on Wednesday, she said that the matter will be thoroughly investigated as to how trees were cut when the former PTI government made lofty claims of Billion tree tsunami. Marriyum Aurangzeb said experts were not consulted before auction of trees. She directed the Secretary Information to submit minutes of full proceedings of meeting of Standing Committee on Information and Broadcasting and investigation report of Radio Pakistan.
