Restaurant, two banks sealed for violation of SOPs

QUETTA:Two private banks and one restaurant were sealed for not implementing Standard Operation Procedures (SOPs) in Quetta.

Chief Secretary Balochistan Captain (retd) Fazeel Asghar paid a surprise visit to different areas of the city on Thursday. Additional Chief Secretary (Home), Home and Tribal Affairs Department, Hafiz Abdul Basit, Commissioner Quetta Division Usman Ali Khan and Deputy Inspector General of Police, Balochistan Abdul Razzaq Cheema also accompanied him. On the occasion, Chief Secretary ordered for sealing two private bank branches and one restaurant at Toghi Road for defying Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Speaking on the occasion, he said, “We can get rid of novel corona virus providing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are followed”. He added that novel corona virus was rapidly spreading, owing to the reason that social distancing was not being maintained. He said action against those would be taken who defied Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
