Review Meeting of PPHI and Medical Emergency Response Centers

Quetta, September 10, 2020 (PPI-OT): Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal Khan has said that if we improve the services of primary health centers, the burden on major hospitals can be reduced. It is important to ensure the attendance of staff posted in primary health centers. Will be entrusted with the responsibility of ensuring staff attendance, improving the health sector is the top priority of the government and we are accountable to the people in this regard, he said at the People’s Primary Health Initiatives (PPHI) During the review meeting in which the performance of Medical Emergency Response Centers was also reviewed, the Chief Executive of PPHI Aziz Jamali while briefing on the relevant issues informed that under PPHI all the districts of the province.

The basic health centers are providing medical facilities and medicines in gynecology and other fields and a large population of the province is benefiting from them. Appreciating the performance of emergency centers on national highways under the MERC program, the Chief Minister said that precious lives could be saved by providing immediate medical aid to the injured in case of traffic accidents, the Chief Executive said. More than 800 trained personnel have been deployed in more than 25 emergency centers of MERC on various national highways of the country.
