Islamabad, September 14, 2021 (PPI-OT): Former President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Sardar Muhammad Yaqoob Khan, has paid glowing tributes to Baba-e-Hurriyat, Syed Ali Gilani, and Mohsin-e-Kashmir, Shaikh Tajammul-ul-Islam. Sardar Muhammad Yaqoob Khan visited the office of All Parties Hurriyat Conference AJK chapter in Islamabad, today, and expressed condolences on the demise of Syed Ali Gilani and Shaikh Tajammul-ul-Islam.
Speaking on the occasion, he said that the demise of great Kashmiri Hurriyat leader, Syed Ali Gilani, and Mohsin-e-Kashmir, Shaikh Tajammul-ul-Islam, was a great loss to the ongoing Kashmir freedom movement. He said, there is no doubt in this fact that these two persons were strong and powerful voices of the Kashmir freedom movement. They were appreciative and strong supporters of Pakistan, he said.
The former AJK President hailed the support and efforts of Pakistan at every forum for the Kashmiris’ struggle for securing their right to self-determination. He said, no Kashmiri can forget these historic words of Syed Ali Gilani, “We are Pakistanis – Pakistan is ours”. He said that the veteran leader had devoted his entire life to the Kashmir freedom movement. Sardar Yaqoob Khan said the services of these two leaders for the Kashmir cause will always be remembered and the struggle will continue till the accomplishment of their mission.
Meanwhile, speakers at a condolence reference organized by Ittehad-e-Islami Jammu and Kashmir in Muzaffarabad, today, also paid glowing tributes to Hurriyat leaders, Syed Ali Gilani and Muhammad Ashraf Sehrai and Executive Director of Kashmir Media Service, Shaikh Tajamulul Islam. They said that the Kashmiri people will never forget the sacrifices and services of the three leaders for the Kashmir.
