ISLAMABAD:Minister for Communications Asad Mahmood on Thursday announced approval of a project of a 210 kilometer long road to connect Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) with Balochistan through China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) route.
Talking to a delegation of JUI-F Dera Ismail Khan, the Minister said the project costing 1.25 trillion rupees would connect Yarik to Saggu and then Saggu to Zhob. He said it would be completed with the joint cooperation of the governments of Pakistan and China. The Minister said this route would pass through the areas of both provinces, which remained neglected during the past governments, bringing economic prosperity in the areas.
