Two security guards were injured in a shooting during a daring robbery attempt at a jewelry shop in the North Karachi area on Wednesday.

The incident occurred at Bismillah Jewelers in Sector 5C/4 when armed suspects opened fire, injuring the on-duty personnel.

The victims were identified as 40-year-old Yasin and his brother, 45-year-old Karim, son of Abdul Ghafoor. The Edhi Ambulance Service promptly transported the injured individuals to a nearby hospital for medical attention.

Upon receiving a report of the incident, personnel from the Ajmer Nagri police station arrived at the scene. Authorities have secured the crime scene, collected forensic evidence, and initiated a formal investigation.

According to initial reports, the suspects managed to flee the scene immediately after the shooting. Law enforcement agencies are now working to identify and apprehend them.
