Rotten governance now fully exposed: Baloch

Lahore:Deputy Chief of the Jamaat e Islami, Liaqat Baloch, has said that the old, rotten government system continuing for the last seventy-two years had been badly exposed due to the corona virus. He was speaking at a function held at Murree to welcome a prominent local political figure Muhammad Ayub Abbasi to the JI fold.

Liaqat Baloch said that the services of the JI to the people during every difficult hour in the past as also during the Corona virus had made it evident to the masses that only the JI could help steer the homeland out of the prevailing social and economic crisis besides overcoming the deep rooted biases and hatred in the society.

The JI deputy chief paid tributes to the poet philosopher Allama Muhammad Iqbal who had envisioned the idea of Pakistan. Allama Iqbal, he said, firmly believed that the salvation of humanity lay in the belief in Islam and faithful adherence to the Islamic teachings enshrined in the holy Quran and the Sunnah of the holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him).
