QUETTA: Liaquat Shahwani, the spokesperson for provincial government, said on Thursday that the Balochistan government had accorded approval to Rs3 million each to the heirs of martyrs of Mangi dam incident.
In a statement, he said that a plot amounting to Rs5 million would be allotted to the heirs of officers of Balochistan Levies Force martyred in the incident of Mangi dam while a plot of Rs1 million would be allotted to the family members of martyred levies constable.
He said that the heirs and children of the martyrs would also be granted government jobs, adding that extending pecuniary aid and providing government jobs to the children of martyred could not be alternative to the blood of martyrs, but, he said that the said assistance would be beneficial to assist the bereaved families. Paying glowing tributes to the martyrs, he said that the provincial government would not leave the bereaved families of Mangi dam incident alone.
