Russia lauds Pakistan’s contribution, sacrifices in war on terror

Islamabad, March 14, 2018 (PPI-OT): Russia has acknowledged Pakistan’s contribution and sacrifices in the fight against terrorism. The acknowledgement was expressed during a meeting between Foreign Secretary Tehmina Janjua and Deputy Secretary National Security Council of the Russia Federation Mikhail Popov in Islamabad. The two sides also discussed defence and security relations and expressed satisfaction on the current level of cooperation between the two countries. The Foreign Secretary Tehmina Janjua also expressed satisfaction on increasing military and technical cooperation between Pakistan and Russia. They also recognized the need for joint efforts for peace, security and stability in the region.
