QUETTA: Secretary, Healthcare and Medical Education Department, Nur-ul-Haq Baloch, has said that the authorities of the office of Accountant General, Balochistan would be asked to get corona allowance released in favour of the staff of Fatima Jinnah General and Chest Hospital.
These views were expressed by him during a visit to Fatima Jinnah General and Chest Hospital, Quetta on Wednesday. Baloch inspected under-construction 44-bedded Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the hospital and directed officials to ensure expediting the construction work.
Directives for constituting a committee to procure medicines and other essential healthcare equipments for Fatima Jinnah General and Chest Hospital, Quetta were also issued. Giving briefing about the performance of hospital and about the problems being faced by the staff of the hospital to run the affairs of hospital, Dr Mir Nurullah Musakhail, Medical Superintendent, Fatima Jinnah General and Chest Hospital requested Baloch to approach the office of Accountant General, Balochistan to get corona allowance inserted in the pay slips of the employees of Fatima Jinnah General and Chest Hospital, Quetta.
On the occasion, Director (Technical), Directorate General Health Services, Balochistan, Dr. Amin Mandokhail and Planning Officer, Dr. Abu Baker were also present.
