Security forces have killed three terrorists in initial response to their attack on an FC convoy in Nushki.

Security sources said today the FC convoy was hit by a suicide and bomb blast by the banned terrorist outfit, BLA this morning.

One terrorist was killed in the suicide blast. Three FC personnel and two civilians also got martyred in the cowardly suicide attack.

Security forces have cordoned off the area, blocking all escape routes of terrorists.

A clearance operation has been started in the area which will continue till the elimination of all terrorists.

Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has strongly condemned the terrorist attack in Nushki.

In a statement today, he expressed grief over the loss of precious lives in the blast. The Prime Minister said such cowardly attacks cannot shake our resolve against terrorism.

He prayed for high ranks of the martyred civilians and FC personnel, and expressed condolences to their families.

The Prime Minister also prayed for speedy recovery of the injured and directed for provision of all possible medical assistance to them.
