Sehrai expresses concern over youths’ killing in CASOs

Srinagar, March 22, 2019 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of Tehreek-e- Hurriyat, Muhammad Ashraf Sehrai, has expressed concern over the loss of precious young human lives, especially the killing of 12-year-old boy during the operations by Indian forces in Bandipora, Baramulla and Shopian.

According to Kashmir Media Service, Mohammad Ashraf Sehrai in a statement issued in Srinagar said it is painful to see every day loss of precious human lives and properties. The people in Kashmir continue to suffer massively due to the unresolved Kashmir dispute for the past several decades, he deplored.

Ashraf Sehrai said that India’s intransigence was the main impediment in peaceful settlement of the lingering Kashmir dispute. He said India has never expressed its willingness to settle the dispute according to the will of the Kashmiri people. He said the aggression and repression can never resolve anything but only aggravate it. Tehreek-e-Hurriyat Chairman said the people of Kashmir yearn for a political solution of the Kashmir dispute to put an end to uncertainty of which they are the worst victims.
