Sehrai, others pay tributes to Pinglan martyrs

Srinagar, February 21, 2019 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, Tehreek-e-Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir Chairman, Mohammad Ashraf Sehrai and other Hurriyat leaders have paid tributes to the youth martyred by Indian troops in Pinglan area of Pulwama district.

Muhammad Ashraf Sehrai in a statement issued in Srinagar said the killing of the youth in the garb of cordon and search operations was not acceptable. He said, because of the repressive policies of the Indian government Kashmir’s fourth generations have been pushed to the wall. He said insensitivity of the Indian authorities is the sole reason for the unabated bloodshed.

The Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party in a statement also expressed deep sorrow and anguish over the loss of four lives including a 46-year old Mushtaq Ahmad in the operation. DFP General Secretary Muhammad Abdullah Tari urged the justice loving people of the world to play their role in curbing the communal forces of India to stop bloodshed in Kashmir.

Jammu and Kashmir Muslim Conference Chairman, Shabbir Ahmad Dar while strongly condemn the killings expressed solidarity with the families of the martyrs and owners of the destroyed houses. Tehreek-e-Muzahamat Chairman Bilal Ahmed Sidiqui in a statement said the hate campaign unleashed against Kashmiris living in Indian states in the background of Pulwama blast reflects the worst communal mindset prevalent in India. Javaid Ahmad Mir in a statement paid rich tributes to Pilot Shaheed Nadeem Khateeb on his anniversary.
