Customs recover smuggled goods

QUETTA:Quetta Customs claims to have seized foreign gears worth rupees eight crore in an operation conducted in Kuchlak area of the provincial capital on Friday.

 

According to customs authorities, team of Quetta Customs comprising Superintendent, Tariq Sultan, Inspector, Shahzad Akhtar, Salauddin Khoso, Arif Dotani and other staff raided a warehouse in Kuchlak area on a tip-off provided by an informer and seized huge quantity of foreign gears amounting to rupees eight crore rupees.

 

Customs authorities said that seized gears were to be smuggled to other parts of the country through buses and trucks, however, timely action of Quetta Customs foiled the bid of smuggling. Chief Collector, Customs Balochistan, Gul Rehman praised the performance of staff.
