Islamabad, February 13, 2018 (PPI-OT): Senate Special Committee to examine the Annual Report of FPSC in its meeting was told that FPSC is in favour of holding a screening test before the actual competitive examination as this will reduce the number of candidates which will consequentially lead to less time and effort in the complete process. The screening test will be a Multiple Choice Question paper based on the six compulsory subjects.
The meeting was held under the Chairmanship of Senator Syed Muzaffar Hussain Shah at the Parliament Lodges in Islamabad and was attended among others by Senators Saleem Zia, Daud Achakzai, Mir Kabeer Shahi, Taj Haider, Mohsin Leghari, Secretary FPSC and other senior officers from Establishment Division and FPSC.
The Committee will discuss further the mode of the screening test in the next meeting. The FPSC told the meeting that the current optional subjects and the 12 service groups are updated and fulfil the current requirements. Committee will hold more discussion in its next meeting tomorrow.
