Islamabad, January 26, 2018 (PPI-OT):Senate Special Committee to examine Annual Report of the FPSC for the year 2015 in its meeting on Friday was told by FPSC that the Committee’s recommendations on restructuring the composition of the Commission will be out on agenda of Commission’s next meeting. The Committee was also told in the meeting that the proposal for having a screening test conducted before the actual competitive examination has been lying with the cabinet for more than five years.
The Committee members among other recommendations suggested to have a cluster based examination and a two or three tier exam instead of only one exam. The Committee also recommended that the criteria for research publications for members from private sector should be diluted and percentage of members from civil service be reduced from half membership. The Committee will meet again next month to finalize the recommendations.
